Fremantle (Freo)
Home of the famous Little Creatures Brewery. It takes just under 30 minutes on the train from the main Perth station.
King’s Park
This is a large park on a hill that overlooks the city. Possible activities include Birdwatching, Cycling, Self-Guided walks & Picnics.
Cottesloe Beach
Possibly the most well known beach in Perth. Grab a to-go fish and chips from Amberjacks and eat it while sitting on the grass while watching the sunset. Difficult to get to on public transport for the same reason there is no BART through Menlo Park / Palo Alto.
Rottnest Island (Rotto)
This is an island off the coast of Perth. Ferries depart from Hillarys marina (where the reception venue is). You should plan to spend at least a full day there, or stay overnight if you can.
